Equipment Donations

PassionPlace is currently producing Integrated Youth Workshop Programs, aka "Youth Epics" which will involve all youth in the community, including working with the youth from residential centers, public and private schools, youth involved in other area arts programs, youth from the Hudson Valley, NYC, and other states.

These youth will be encouraged to promote their visions through on-going multimedia live performances, including integration of the fine, performing, and technical arts such as: live dance and music (of various genres), film, spoken word, theatre, projected visual images (of paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, etc.), and full set/lighting/costume/makeup and wardrobe design.

These performances will be toured to many communities so that we may share the experiences, visions, thoughts and explorations of our community's youth with other communities, while exposing our youth to the communities we visit.

The youth will work with the guidance of phenomenally talented adult artists who truly believe in each individual youth's genius. These adult creative facilitators will help the youth achieve their goals while offering their experience and encouragement, while promoting the true voice of the youth involved.

For those youth who are detained in secure residential centers, the creative directors will tour these campuses and work directly with the youth in every effort to involve the collaboration of all youth, despite their inability to leave campus for workshops and rehearsals. This way, no youth who wishes to be involved will be unable to participate.

PassionPlace also maintains a fervent desire to make these workshops and productions available to all youth, regardless of their inability to pay for specialized arts programs. We warmly accept any donations towards scholarship awards for the youth who wish to participate, but whom may otherwise be unable to afford the materials, equipment, transportation, or any other resources they may need to be involved. Again, PassionPlace desires to have no child be unable to participate due to financial burden.

Aside from a need for financial support to cover costs to hold the workshops and produce the performances in the tours, PassionPlace is also seeking donations in the following areas:

• Musical instruments
• Sound and recording equipment
• Film equipment and supplies
• Lighting equipment
• Art supplies (of any and all kinds)
• Fabric for set design and costumes
• Stage makeup
• Building materials and tools for set design and props
• Tables and chairs
• and more

Youth Epic ANGELS Needed!

We have a need for ANGELS to assist in emergency funding for our "Youth Epic" Productions. Emergency costs are at $20,000. The overall budget is far greater, but these emergency funds will aloow us to continue our program. We are appealing to you for help in meeting this funding level. Your donations to PassionPlace will enable us to put deposits down on venues, pay for promotional materials, as well as defray production and operational costs.

We make this emergency appeal to you and ask that you support PassionPlace with a generous Charitable Contribution. PassionPlace is a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization and therefore your donation is tax deductible! You may choose to remain an anonymous donor or be listed as a sponsoring ANGEL.

There are several other projects PassionPlace is working on for the next part of our season, including an educational multimedia production incorporating an incredibly powerful telescope, film, imagery, dance, music and narration, presented live, as well as a summer multimedia production incorporating metal sculpture, film, dance, imagery, lighting for an outdoor event, and more!

Lastly, PassionPlace has incurred a few losses on the previous production due to some unforeseen emergencies (yes, we always live and learn - but the key is that we do learn how to avoid any unfortunate and untimely errors for the upcoming productions. We are in a fairly serious deficit and are in need of emergency funds to help cover the outstanding bills in a few areas. Anyone who is willing to assist towards recovering funds towards the payment of these bills will help enable PassionPlace to regain some footing which will allow us to focus fully on the important projects at hand. If you are able to assist us in this area, we would be more than happy to make special arrangements with you or your organization that would allow special benefits! Levels of ANGELS

Each level of sponsorship holds certain benefits, such as listing in programs; free tickets to shows; special events with Honorary Advisors, Cast, and Crew; advertising space in programs; listings on all promotional materials, such as flyers, posters, mailers, etc.; and, of course, all contributions, at any level, are tax deductible!

Ticket Sales Revenue

Of course, a tremendous resource for recovering revenue for the cost of the productions relies heavily upon ticket sales to our performances. If you are willing to be an ANGEL to help purchase block ticket sales for youth groups, schools, arts organizations or rehabilitation organizations, you would not only be assisting in providing reduced or free seating for these organizations, but you would also be assisting in having PassionPlace reach their goal of selling out all shows. Once again, this contribution would be considered tax deductible, and you can choose to be honored as a Sponsoring ANGEL, or choose to remain anonymous in your donation.

Advertising Opportunities

We are currently accepting advertising submissions for our 4-color event program. The funds raised through ad sales will go toward supporting the artists and production staff involved in the production, purchasing materials, supplies and services from the region's businesses, and the venues directly involved.

What will you get from your ad?

• Not only will you be helping to support local artists and regional theaters, you will also have the opportunity to reach a diverse audience of potential customers!

• Passion Place will be handing out the same program to audience members at all 3 venues of the New York tour. We are expecting to run at least 5000 copies of this program. Your ad will reach thousands of potential customers in all the communties we will be touring our production in! At least 2000 programs will be dispersed in area arts organizations, venues, nightclubs, coffee shops, chamber of commerce offices, town office buildings, schools, etc.

• Also, should you choose to purchase an ad, for an extra $10 we will put your ad on our website, www.passionplace.org, with a link to your website as well, reaching worldwide!

• Audience members will include: individuals and corporations who support the arts, students, teachers, arts organizations, members of the press, a diverse cross section of individuals of all backgrounds, and many customers you may never have reached through your normal avenues of advertising!

• Also, advertising in this program is a Charitable Contribution to PassionPlace. Because PassionPlace is a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization, your ad is tax deductible!

• We have been sponsored by WDST, Woodstock's premier alternative rock radio station. As a special bonus to all advertisers who purchase a half-page or larger, WDST has offered to include these business as sponsors on our radio ads for this event. These ads will be aired throughout the month of May, and sponsors will be rotated to cover all ads, reaching thousands of customers at no extra cost to you!

• We also have a need for in-kind services, including, but not limited to: catering services for the public attending the performances, our production crew and artists; lodging for our out-of-town artists; building supplies; musical equipment rentals; lighting equipment rentals; film projection equipment; advertising; and more. If you feel that you have goods or services that may be of use to us, we are very interested in speaking to you about reduced ad costs in exchange for these! Please contact us!

  If you would like to place an ad in our program, please provide us with a photo-ready copy or a disk with a .jpg or .gif file of your ad. Ad copy must have a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
